    How to configure the Start screen


    Hi all,

    Win 10

    Please advise;-
    1) How to configure the Start screen showing important items and programs/software at the right column, as shown on the attached photo
    2) How to change the background image of the Start screen ?

    How do you configure the start screen?

    You appear to be showing shortcuts on part of your desktop..?

    You mention the right column- I don't recognise that, sorry. What is its origin?

    Desktop wallpaper:
    Change Desktop Background in Windows 10
    and there are various freeware apps and programs e.g.
    How to Use Bing Wallpaper app to Change Windows 10 Desktop Background
    (I use Wally).

    The fancy column of links and system info could be an app called Rainmeter, a highly configurable "dock" type app.
