    Daily wallpaper stopped

About 2 weeks ago I stopped getting these daily wallpapers which I liked. Both my son and husband have windows 10 as I do and they are still receiving them. I tried bing and was very disappointed in the puctures they sent so I got rid of it. Is there any way I can get back the ones I liked?

Hi, are you referring to Spotlight- on the lock screen?

Sometimes it can be a bit erratic.

There's a tutorial to re-register spotlight if you wish to try that- see the Tutorials section where there is a search box.
Once you've done that, I've found it can take several days before the pictures return.

There's also a tutorial about saving the Spotlght pictures.

No I never heard of Spotlight, I'm assuming the wallpaper came from Microsoft, it started shortly after I upgraded to Windows 10. I'll check out the artical you mentioned. Thanks much.

Just to confirm, are you referring to the image on the lock screen - the first you see before logging in?

Yes, the first scene you see after you sign on, this photo changed I think every 2 or 3 days. In the upper right it told you where the photo was taken and if you liked it. I just checked the artical you mentioned and I'm not seeing microsoft edge in the background apps but I do have it but don't use it, I prefer chrome. I downloaded the file to reset spotlight but I get a window stating the app isn't microsoft-verified, do I get apps from the store or change my app recommendation settings? OK, I got it, I'm good.

This is the one: try this
Reset and Re-register Windows Spotlight in Windows 10

Note that links from this by default open in Edge. Only if you use EdgeDeflector (free) can you hope to prevent that.

Check that Spotlight is in fact selected in Settings:

Yes, that's Spotlight on the lock screen.

Do you now mean your desktop wallpaper?

I think you'd better post a screenshot of what you're actually referring to. Thank you.

    Hi,

I think daily Wallpaper refers to a MS app called Daily Desktop Wallpaper

Change your device background or lock screen with Bing image of the day.

    https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/p/da...ot:overviewtab

If it's the app you re talking about try to reinstall it.
