Oh, I see what you mean now... I had that when I installed the wrong version, or rather, the 1.3 version. I had also checked that extra box, it wasn't the Modern Apps box, but some theme- You are supposed to check that box only if you use that particular theme. But I did it anyway and there were bunches of weirds shapes in my explorer bar. They don't have that same checkbox in the new version.

There is now an official release of Aeroglass for Win 10 - v1.4. (For those who donate, the text on the desktop is removed).

    Aero Glass for Windows 8.x+

Note that Bigmuscle (the author) comments that rounded corners are not now feasible as MS has changed the implementation. In my example I've used the Aerolite theme, Aeroglass, a registry mod to set many backgrounds to pale yellow rather than near white, set the accent to a bluish colour, and used a (withdrawn) utility from the Aeroglass site to set the caption text to white. (The drop shadow is from an old freeware utility which does have one conflict with Win 10).

Windows will put this in an update someday, as it`s in an insider preview already, at least it`s supposed to be in 10525. The borders, well that`s something else altogether, but that looks nice :)

Windows 10's white Title bars may soon be history with the return of the Windows Insider Program - TechRepublic

Heres new in the Windows 10 Insider Preview build 10525

The article mentions title bars, along with the other color changes, personally I haven`t even tried it as my Insider install just updated to 10532. Will look later. (Confirmed)

Yes, this is positive thinking :)

They'll definitely be adding the color, but hopefully they'll also add transparency. Would be nice to not have to use a third party app just to get coherency!

Aero Glass is nice to look at, however the nags and watermarks suck and thus overall, Aero Glass sucks. I hope M$ includes more Glass UI in future updates so that I can delete Aero Glass for good.

nosecureboot: If you 'donate' - a small fee e.g. 5 euros - you get 2 or 3 licence keys - which are NOT tied to hardware and can be reallocated- you do not get a watermark, and 'symbols' are automatically updated to match your build. Of course if you can't afford 3 or 4 euros.... well, you get a watermark on your desktop.

Otherwise you may have to manually update the symbols- which is not clearly documented).
That is, the precise locations of aspects of the GUI this modifies can be build specific.

yigityetkin: Thus your question is partially answered. I guess you'd just have to try it. Have a look at the site- and note that v1.4 is specific to the first RTM build of Win 10. It may well work with your build- I don't think you lose anything by trying. It's safely uninstallable.

I should add- it can also add a tiny border around universal apps (tiled apps) - so if you hate near white overlaid on white so you can't see where one begins and another ends, this can help.

'Glass8' and 'AeroLite' on Build 10586.11 and everything seems to be rendering properly.
