Change the color of windows active title bar withOUT border color

    Hello,

When you right click on desktop and go to Personalize --> Color --> scroll to the bottom where it says "Show accent color on the following surfaces" --> There are 2 options to check to add your color 1.) Start, taskbar, and action center 2.) Title bars and windows border and that is it. I want to change the color of the title bars but I do NOT want to add or change the windows borders color. So is there a way to to only change the color of the title bar and not the borders?

Please give me good news and tell me this can be done. Thanks in advanced. I appreciate your help.

You could change the title bar and have minimal borders...1 or 2 pixels..

You might be able to set an appropriate border colour to meet your needs using this free program by member Superfly:

    - note the Active and InactiveBorder settings.

(This is just a convenient way of changing particular registry values which you could do directly should you dislike the convenience of 3rd party tools as some do).
