    Drive Status Indicator

    Hello there:

adding to this thread on the drive icons, how does one alter the appearance of the status bar indicator from its W10 default back to what W7 displays?
as quoted 10 is really drab, I have already altered the desktop icons, drive icons & the folder icons to 7 but how does one alter the drive space indicator bar?
where in the registry does one go, & what does one use as a source for the 7 drive status bar?
Seeing as I have a dual boot option & one of the two systems is 7 can I get the wanted dll from the 7 op/sys? (that's basically what I did with the other icons).

    thx very much

    Perhaps I should rephrase:
    the Drive Space Indicator bar

You can easily make it look like this...

    Drive Status Indicator-image1.png

Right click a blank space and choose: View > Details

    Or like this...
Right click a blank space and choose: View > Tiles

Thx for the reply, what I want is this........Drive Status Indicator-windows-7-explorer-page.jpg

The 7 indicator bar is not flat (2d) like 10 is, it has visual depth to it.

I didn't realize that when I installed the icon cache from 7 to 10 the drive space indicator bar wouldn't be transferred over as well.

That space bar dll is not in the imageres.dll that is found in the system32 folder. I don't know where it actually is.

Well, I managed to luck out by finding what I was looking for in a skinpack.
Their website has a listing for just that. There is a paid offering as well as a free download. I selected the free choice for now.
Can you tell it's not 7?

Cosmetics put to bed, came across a complete skinpack that transforms 10 back to 7, even included the glass.
