Remove Edge Chromium from Offline Image (WIM)

    Hello guys,
I have the latest build windows 10 iso downloaded and created by MediaCreationTool.
I removed unwanted UWP apps, i customized capabilities, features with dism commands on install.wim
also blocked OneDrive from installing with a registry tweak.

I'm wondering if there is any way to remove Edge Chromium from offline image?

I use Chrome Portable and TorBrowser, i will never use Edge Chromium,
I have a bat script to uninstall Edge Chromium to use after a clean install, but i wanted to remove it from WIM

    Thanks.

    Hello @Feuer,

There are differing opinions about removong MS Edge, mainly because it is so well intergrated into the OS. As I am someone who always creates a Custom ISO Installation [ since Win Vista ], the last one being Win 10 using WinReducer, I found it better to make the changes Post-Installation.

This may, or may NOT help.

    Hello @Paul Black
    Thank you for your answer.

I have also found "Toolkit" to customize WIM, i didn't try it yet.
I will check "WinReducer" that you mentioned.

But I'm really wondering if I can remove Edge Chromium with just commands (like DISM) without any program.

I think simply erasing Edge Folders from mounted image will cause damage so i didn't try it.

    Thanks.
