SevenTheme Overview

I can confirm that running this program on 20H2 after upgrading from 1903 replaced icons giving me some pretty Win 7 ones. Prior to running it after upgrading to 20H2, I had Win 10 flat icons and the Win 10 This PC icon e.g.

I can't advise as to why you're getting that dotnet message: here you can see what I have by way of .net features:


In line with what @Try3 advises, you can see that the appropriate file has in fact been processed: when I ran this program in 1903, that was imageres.dll. Now .......mun


Here you can see comparisons between the original (backup) file and the modified one. E.g. note #54,109.



For interest: this may be how 21H2 will look compared to 20H2, say:


- can't see how they will indicate folder content with those icons..

Sure-- it's just such an easy way to get something I find a bit more pleasant.. thanks for asking. Good to find it still worked with 20H2.

Of course there are full themes out there- often needing Uxthemepatcher- I like this + Qttabbar + a reg mod as these are relatively non-intrusive.
