How To Add Color To Hidden Notification Area

That rectangle of hidden icons in the notification area...It is white and hard to see some icons.
I would like to make that area a bit darker to see the icons more easily.
Anyone know why it's white and how to change it?

    Any advice will be appreciated.

Do you have Light or Dark theme running?

If you are running Light theme, the icons should contrast to black...

I haven't run across a Light or Dark in Windows 10.
I use a theme. I can change the theme but the hidden icon window is still white.

Have a look here. Search Dark mode from the taskbar search.

I'm using Classic Shell and Translucent TB.
My theme has a tan taskbar and headers.

But the notifications thing stays white.

I like my apps to be light themed, but my Taskbar to be dark themed. I have Settings > Personalisation > Colours set like this....

It's the Default Windows mode that controls the background of the 'Hidden icons' popup. Mine looks like this.

W10 Tweaker, you are the one! I'm so excited I can hardly type!
As soon as I set it to dark mode I could the hidden notifications turned dark so I can now easily see it.
But ALSO, The "Start, TaskBar, and Action Center" had always been grayed out.
After I chose Dark THEN I could tick on the Start, TaskBar, and Action Center and it changed to the tan theme color.
    Thank you!

Thanks Vanessalf, you are most welcome. If you search the forum, you will find many display theme tips.

    And, welcome to Ten Forums.

PS; I also use Dark Reader to save my eyes and add to battery run time.
