I have waiting for Microsoft to hear my request. I am using Windows 7 as my host operating system. Windows XP and 7 have the best customization options for colors and fonts. I hope Microsoft hears my request on the Advanced Appearance Settings dialog box.
What you can do to assist me further is for you to contact Microsoft and send them an email for them asking them to add back the Advanced Appearance Settings dialog box color and font options back into Windows 10.
Also do not forget to send a link to this thread in your email. Simply copy and paste the link from your web browser. Then mark the email as important, and send it to Microsoft. Please do that now.
It'll never happen!
Not with MS being hell-bent on making Windows 10 cross-platform compatible!
Windows 10X is now the version of Windows 10 for dual screen tablets. Windows 10X wont replace Windows 10, but will be an additional light weight version of Windows 10, exclusively available on all dual screen tablets and on some laptops sharing the same hardware configuration.
This means that Windows 10 will be less cross platform compatible and better for normal desktop environments. That also means that developers would spend more time on adding extra customization options for color and font appearance. I bet Microsoft will do that at some point. Hopefully, we shall see more color and font appearance settings in build 21H2, when the new big feature update comes out in October 2021.
I have requested this feature on the Feedback Hub twice already. You need to request it on your own Feedback Hub and vote for it using the highest vote possible. Please assist me further by requesting this feature.
