    Screensaver Nobbled By PowerDVD 20

My slideshow screensaver has failed to start for some while now, and recently by using the powercfg command i revealed the culprit?, which it showed to be clmediaserver.exe, which comes with Powerdvd, and I have emailed Cyberlink. However when i entered the override command for display, which is supposed to stop it interfering, it didn't solve the problem.

I've even tried getting Task Scheduler to run the screensaver, but it appears to be preventing that too, any suggestions?

You might try disabling it in "services".... clmsserver.exe

Perhaps there is an entry in the Task manager, Startup tab that you could disable / re-enable at will.

Thanks guys, it no longer runs as a service, but i have disabled it in the start up tab again, now i know it's not needed, weirdly it didn't get the screensaver running when i tried it before, restarted and toggled on/off. I've set up a keyboard shortcut to run it, i guess that's the best i can hope for.
