Same sequnces choosen from Slideshow map

I have one map with all my hi-res .jpg pictures (many K's) in the same resolution as my monitor.
I have choosen in Desktop Backgrouns for Slideshow and to display them randomly.
However randomly is not really randomly as I do see the same seqeunce of pictures every day and the vast majoruty of my pics is never choosen.
It looks like during start-up a sample is choosen from the picture map and it uses the same sample evey day.
I am running build 19042.804 of version 20H2 of W10
What can I do to involve all my pics in the Slideshow function of w10.

As a suggestion, I've seen better results when copies of all desired images were in the same folder and only that folder chosen for the slide show settings. Since the slide show might not start until after Windows is running it might be stuck with that initial image.

Also, does right-click of the desktop and choosing Next desktop background work?

Yes Next Desktop Background works, however it does not change de sequence in which the pics are displayed.
Every day the startup pic is the same as the day before. During the day they switch but the sequece is the same as before.
