    WOW, so many.

I never actually use my Control Panel. I have a customised Toolbar that I use with Folders for each type of Program/Process that I may need etc [ along with customised Icons ]. I also have this on a USB so it is Portable.

If your Control Panel setup works for you, then that is a lot of work and time well spent.

yep I spent a while on it, using also a GUID generator so every registry entry is unique as well. :)

Learnt how to do it from one of the guide on this site.

This is also on my custom ISO so the diagnostic tools in there very useful for future testing of hardware faults as well.

    Impressive.

There is also what is referred to as God Mode, which will add ALL Tasks to the Control Panel for ALL Users. You can also set it up on the Desktop.

Betcha you're gonna be bummed out when they completely depreciate the Control Panel from the OS!

Yep I read about it, I know it is coming at some point but I am using the LTSC so it may not be forced upon me as soon as everyone else.

But as always I bet people will figure out to have it functioning, e.g. did you know I am using quick launch on Windows 10 right now :)

That got disabled by default but even a decade down the line its fully functional, just has to be manually configured.

So dont be surprised if Microsoft removing control panel is just removing the links on the menus to get to it and the default applets, whilst leaving the underlying code in place.
