Advanced scaling question - 115% possible?

Instead of 100% or 125%, I want to select something like 115% for my Dell UP3216Q. I find 100% too tiny but think I can use 115% to 118%, that seems to be just right.

does that mean if I go into "Custom scaling" and enter a custom scaling size between 100%-500% (let's say 115%), it will override the 100% or 125% , etc. value set in the main display menu?

That's my understanding. I use 125% but the Advanced item just under that allows typing any number.

    I will try it.
I am debating which one of the two monitors to get, the new Dell 5K2K 40" which ends up with exact same PPI figure as 4K 32" model (UP3216Q) which is 140PPI, which I have and run at 125% scaling, or the new 38" 4K Dell which is 3840x1600 and ends up having 110 PPI, which is exactly the same resolution as a Dell QHD such as 2560x1440 and 27" in size. Like Dell U2711 or U27xx.

If I can get good results from dell U4021QW at say 115%, I will get that, if not, then 38" monitor.
