Glad to have helped, it's been fun (and nostalgic).
Bree, I fixed the "H" keyboard shortcut not working while SHIFT was held down :) I thought it was a multi-thread problem but it was still a "language limitation".
I ended up mapping both LSHIFT and RSHIFT separately to the same "hibernate" command and now it just simply works. The key works, anyway, but I'm still not sure the issue with the sign-in screen being displayed once out of hibernation. Update (v0.985) can be had from the XP_Settings menu if you wish, thanks again for finding that.

v0.985 no longer has the unwanted sign-in screen issue, and Shift+H works fine. Well done, I can't see anything else that needs fixing.

I look forward to testing 'the TAB thing' if/when you work it out.

I'm very sorry for necroing this thread. The read me file mentions that "If you are using OpenShell, read their instructions at GitHub to link the menus into your Start menu (great for XP theme)".

I've looked everywhere but I can't find this information. Is there any way to make the shut down button in the start menu actually use these links?

I'm very sorry for taking a long time to see your question and reply.

This is, I think, what you are looking for:
