    Vertical Taskbar too wide

Why is taskbar twice the width when moved to the vertical? I have it set at small icons but it is still twice as wide when compared to a horizontal taskbar.

That does happen, I think it's caused by the items on the bottom end due to more-limited height of the screen and it can't be reduced.

    Hi Berton

You can move all of those items into the overflow > and it still doesn't change. On horizontal, if you make the taskbar narrow it loses the date which is fine. On vertical you cannot get rid of the date....Update. I changed the date format with regedit to lose the year. Still double width...

BTW - I have installed 7+ taskbar tweaker which fixes it but it should really work by default....

how did you get 7+taskbar tweaker to work? I've seen other people mention using that and setting no_width_limit to 1 but it doesnt seem to work for me

Edit: i think i found out how to adjust. i dragged and adjusted the width manually after. I thought it'd do it automatically but i guess not
