Issues with the Bitlocker Notification Toast

    Hi,

I'm running Windows 10 1909 (Buid 18363.1256), I rolled back from 20H2 (to many problems).

This issue was already there before I had made the upgrade.

When I plugged in my WD External Hard Drive wich is protected by Bitlocker, I get that small notification toast at the top right of my laptop Dell XPS 15 7590, just see for yourself :

Is there a way to make it wider so that when I type my password, I would be able to see it completely ???

And, I cannot resize the window by using the pointer. But I can with all the other windows.

I ran DISM, scf /scannow and there's no issue according to these tools !

It would be very nice if someone could come up with a solution !???

Thank You for your time ! 👍👍👍

    Sincerely Jay

Normally, this little-used menu can be opened by clicking on the icon in the upper left corner of a window but there is also a keyboard shortcut to open it. Enter the keyboard combination Alt+Space Bar. An example of the menu that opens is shown in the figure on the right. The menu is used by entering the underlined letter for an action.

    Thank You for your answer,

But as you can see, there's not a small icon in the left corner, just like I would find one in “cmd”, “Powershell”, and etc...

So I do Know the use of this little icon, but just like I have said, it's not there !

I thought that it would be something in the Registry ???

I'll wait for somebody with a different answer

    Thank You !

    Hi,

By upgrading to 20H2, the issue with the notification banner is now resolved.
