Similar. The major difference being this one allows you to disable the entire header OR just parts of it.
And Mach2 came out about a week after Vive did.

I made note that Raphael fixed his Mach 2 tool after ViveTool was published. Thanks.

Does this process still work on the latest Windows Pro 20H2 or 21H1 versions?

What about the code for Web browsing icon?

I have tried on two different machines running 19043.1081 (120.2212.3530.0) and only 18299130 works. Other codes to hide/show specific elements don't appear to do anything.

What's even more annoying is that apparently one machine is ok with having no OneDrive backups set and just shows "Manage", while the other urges me to set up a backup. Web browsing also only shows up on the second computer but not the first. What a mess...

A similar behavior I've been seeing is the result of not running OneDrive at startup where the status will remain as 'Manage'.

    DISABLE the Settings Header Banner-onedrivemanage.jpg

Then after the first startup of OneDrive, I'll get this 'Back up files' warning.

Like the loss of my chosen User login picture, I see these eyesore nags as Microsoft's petty punishment for not using their online account, or their products the way they want me to. Unfortunately new ones keep appearing frequently. As a consequence, I almost never go to the main settings page anymore and instead pin the necessary options to my start menu like 'Update' and 'System'.

At least they got rid of that originally obnoxious yellow 'yelling !' status icon from a year ago.

I managed to fix that annoying OneDrive thing. Not sure exactly what happened, but I uninstalled OneDrive and then re-installed it and now it doesn't even have that back up option any more. Why are things so all over the place? lol.

PS: The machine that didn't nag me about backing up had OneDrive running and actually had the version that included backing up so I don't know... I replaced that too though.

PS2: Managed to get rid of the Web Browsing thing too. Had to use vivetool and I just removed all group 4 entries until I was left with 3 group 0 entries that cannot be removed. Now I only get OneDrive and Windows Update icons.

Last update: I found out what happened with the missing OneDrive menu. My VPN provider blocks it at the DNS level as tracking. Once I disabled it and restarted OneDrive, the setting was back, but the Settings banner has stopped nagging me to backup for good hehe.
