Lock Screen Slideshow Picture Folder Image Issue

    Hi,
I'm trying to get my lock screen to utilize the slide show option, but when I choose that option I receive a prompt that says " You need more than one picture to show in your slideshow." So I click on the + Add Folder and try and choose spotlight images in my pictures folder and it says " No items match your search ", but when I enter file explorer directly all of my image's are there and can be accessed properly. I'm wondering if anyone else is having the same issue ? And if so how did you correct it ? By the way, I'm currently running windows version 20H2 , Build 19042.541
    Thanks,
    David

Select 'Choose this folder' anyway, they'll come up!

    Hi Edwin,
I'll try that maybe I'll get lucky, I find this kind of strange, on my older hp desktop it performs like it's supposed to.
    Thanks,
    David

    Hi,
This is really getting strange now, in my original post I was having the issue with my lenovo laptop, at the time the spotlight images seemed to be functioning properly while using the slideshow function. Today I haven't been so lucky, that function is no longer functioning properly on my desktop.

Hi, if you mean Spotlight isn't working on your desktop, then try
Reset and Re-register Windows Spotlight in Windows 10

from the tutorial section- feel free to browse and search it.

    Hi dalchina,
Thanks for the reply, no the spotlight function is functioning correctly, it's the slideshow function that's not functioning. This is getting so frustrating now that I'm even considering doing a fresh install of my current o.s. build and just see if that would correct my issue, of course do that is one thing I really never like to do.
