HELP - UltraUXThemePatcher Windows10 Explorer broke/ Missing left pane

    Hi

I installed UltraUXThemePatcher last month (11th of May) in order to install custom themes for Windows 10 (Running on Windows 10 version 1909 OS Build 18363.900). I know that it is very crucial that you must manually create a system restore point before installing it, I honestly admit that I did, but it seems like it wasn't successful as the system restore point of May 11th was gone.

It just today I noticed the damaging effects that the patcher did to my system as I tried to open files or locate my files in my animation application. At first, I thought it was their program who had some fault because I can't see nor access anything from the windows explorer (see the image below), everything was gone, folders in the left pane, ribbon, search bar, etc.

I tried opening another application, Photoshop, Illustrator, and any application that requires the user to locate their app when opening or saving files in the pop-up window explorer. Sadly, it was also affected as I can't open nor save files from any location now at all.

There's no turning back since the restore point that I made last month were completely gone out in the void. I can't restore to the point before I install UXTPatcher. I need your help, what method should I do in order to restore my window explorer?
Does resetting my PC will fix the problem and restore the explorer to it's former glory? Or are there alternative method in fixing this. Does "keep my files" on the system reset were sufficient enough to restore Windows 10 broken features? Or do I really need to "Remove everything"?

I need to fix so I may able to properly do my school works and commissions.

    Looking forward for everyone's response.

Just a point on securing your mission critical system.. I can understand the importance of it being available.

    1. System Restore is great- when it works. Time and again here people have found it fails to complete the process of restoring when most needed. The message is: do not solely rely on it. There was no guarantee it would have saved you.

    2. Again and again members here tirelessly advocate disk imaging - to protect your PC and data. If you regularly and routinely use disk imaging, you can recover from ransomware, failed disk (restore to a new disk), unbootable situations and even your own mistakes. And you have a full backup which you can put away securely. Macrium Reflect free + paid + large enough external storage.

As to recovery, there is the option of an in-place upgrade repair install which keeps all progs and data and most settings. This is normally a safe procedure- no guarantee if it will fix this particular damage. For that you need an iso (or even a bootable Win 10 disk) of the same build as your existing Windows. (1909). If you already have one, use that.Repair Install Windows 10 with an In-place Upgrade includes a link to how to get iso's including old builds via Heidoc iso downloader.
