Sorry if it's in the wrong section, but how do you guys sort your start menu, mine is like this (see image). As you can see i'm not good at sorting my apps...
Don't know where to put the apps on the top right.
Oh I mean the icons on the right, not the A-Z list.
I don't like "Tiles" all over my desktop, so I push them into general category's. They all become much smaller. If for instance I wanted to run excel, I would expand that block. (shown 4 blocks total) When done, I would then collapse it. All the blocks take up much less space.??

Just makes me admire the "new" look of Windows 10 and it's Start Tiles even more.
Mine are simply arranged vertically with the most important ones and those showing Active content like Mail previews at the top in the narrowest width(4 large Tiles).
In appropriately labelled sections.
Flick of the Mouse Wheel down the various Tile sections.
Much the same as the original poster, but narrower with scrolling.
After 5yrs you realise that it can be better than the old Start menu, I would hate to go back to that.
I am well past retirement age and refuse to follow the auto-rejection line of thought...posts #2,#4,#6
