Windows boot logo animation Vs Manufacturer’s version.

I had someone ask me recently about what happened to the Windows boot animation (Windows logo with dotted circle) as they only saw the Manufacturer’s logo with the dotted circle animation, and it got me wondering as I too have not seen the Windows logo animation. I see the manufacturer’s version, then a pale blue screen with the dotted circle, then log in screen.
My question is has the Windows logo version been removed?
    No gui boot is off.
Running 2004 but has been the same since I purchased the laptop with Win 10.

    Thanks.

No, it hasn't. But an OEM can replace it with their own logo if they wish. If their custom logo is present in the UEFI firmware it will take precedence and display in place of the standard blue window.

    Microsoft said:
The only supported way to replace the startup logo with a custom logo is to modify the Boot Graphics Resource Table (BGRT) on a device that uses UEFI as the firmware interface. If your device uses the BGRT to include a custom logo, it is always displayed and you cannot suppress the custom logo.

the "Windows Logo" is derived from a Legacy Boot
the "OEM Logo" is derived from a UEFI Boot
