Duplicate "Quick Access" in navigation pane.

    Hi,

I have two "quick access" menu's in the navigation pane - Likely from some customization app from ages ago. How can I remove the duplicate entry? Please see attached screenshot.

Copy & paste the following code into a PowerShell window and execute. It should just return to the prompt, its output is sent to the clipboard. Paste the contents of the clipboard into your reply so we can look for non-standard entries.
    Code:
    'HKCU:\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Desktop\NameSpace\',
    'HKLM:\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Desktop\NameSpace\' |
    gci | ft -AutoSize | out-string | scb

Those all match what's on my nachine. Do you not have any entries under HKCU\...\Namespace or did you miss the first line when copying the code? It could be empty if you'd removed OneDrive.

Used the entire code - I have removed onedrive.

The duplicate Quick Access in navigation pane only appears after I move anything into a quick access folder (i.e. copying a file into downloads, "triggers" the duplicate entry and it appears. If I close explorer and re-open it, there is only one Quick Access until I use the any pinned folder, which then triggers the 2nd. Quick Access to appear - Very odd)

    EDIT
: It also occurs when running in safe mode.

Eveything old is new again! https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/...a-616c96e103d2

Does the duplicate disappear with a Refresh?

    Does your registry match this:

Refresh doesn't remove the duplicate entry. Only a full closure of explorer resolves it.

    EDIT: Solution

I adjusted the values of the ShellFolder to your values and used cmd (taskkill /f /im explorer.exe, then start explorer.exe) and it seems to have solved the problem.

Thank you so much for your help Keith. :)
