Weird screensaver issue - Windows 10 Home x64

I have my desktop wallpaper set to: solid color > black, yet my screensaver looks like this...

This is a clean install of Win 10 Home (about a week old), and the latest Nvidia driver... 445.87

    Windows version: 10.0.18363.836 (Win10 19H2 [1909] November 2019 Update)

Hi just curious if you set it to a picture does it work right or is it just when you set it to a solid color

Same issue with picture. Also, I forgot about this... used the motherboard driver DVD to install the drivers. Installed all of them, but I get this in Device Manager...

    Don't know if it's related??
I don't see any driver at manufacturer's website that's related.

Hmmm... I just tried the screensaver: mystify, and IT doesn't seem to have this issue.

Well it seems that this is an issue with the ASUS chipset driver vs. the AMD chipset driver.

Solution was/is here: PCI Encryption/Decryption Controller

Waiting for 2nd level tech support call from ASUS about the PCI Encryption/Decryption Controller issue.

Still have the screensaver issue though.

Looks like "Bubbles", but it's not dancing like they used to. Please see this article: How to customize the Bubbles, Ribbons, and Mystify screen savers for Windows 10 - TechRepublic

Well, they're not dancing like they used to, because it's a picture not a video. :)

BUT... although I couldn't get the TechRepublic info to work, it did help me find the solution at WinAero, here...

Customize screen savers in Windows 10 using secret hidden options

    I'll give you half a rep... j/k. :)

/e I still can't get the "transparent" setting to work. Instead of showing w/e windows I have open, with the bubbles on top, it shows that weird grey-ish screen in the original pic. But I only wanted the "black" background to work, like it did in Windows 7.
Ok... you get a full rep.
