Thank you for your reply. Why not try it for yourself as a virtual machine (VM) e,g, under Virtualbox (free)?

Win 11 ran on Virtualbox for me on this old laptop- and I used Qttabbar.

However, for example, neither Stardock's Windowblinds nor Curtains seem to be available for Win 11.

Time has moved on. Windows 11 Insider RP/Beta installations are very stable as we approach new RTM 22H2.
I do not know how you can claim W11 is more or less customisable without running both.

If anything, I would say W11 is less customisable but in the end, it is just cosmetic.

The important points are the new features. Although (imo) not that many real enhancing features, we are seeing some come through at last e.g. file explorer with tabs, persistency on sandbox upon a reboot to mention a couple.

I kind of despair about the emphasis on cosmetic claptrap (rounded corners).

An OS is to be used not admired. I accept aesthetics are important BUT they are not the be all and end all. Life is a balance.

As for the obsession with emojis, I cannot get over emotive about a zillion emojis. Hell about 10 emojis pretty much cover my needs LOL.
