Ah OK. I think that Microsoft should add all those color options from the Advanced Appearance Settings to Windows 11.

I agree. But I notice, from post #26 above at Classic Advanced Windows Color and Appearance Dialog Box, that the Stardock application might have a number of apps that would help. I haven't tried it though.

That still sucks because it does not cost anything for Microsoft to add all the color options from the Advanced Appearance Options to Windows 11. It appears that Microsoft is cutting down on color options modifications and that's not fair. Please request for Microsoft to add those color options back into Windows 11. They would fit in very well with the brand new Sun Valley project.

Do feel free to do that yourself via the Feedback Hub app (win key + f).

It's been MS's clear policy to reduce the degree of customisation. Win 11 restricts that further with the new frame design. However, Qttabbar (free) is still supported for Win 11 (the older version worked for me) and that allows changing file explorer-related colours.

    Example (Win 10):

Note that Stardock's Curtains and Iconpackager which I've used there are not yet available for Win 11 as far as I can see.

Is it possible to change the color elements of the Start Menu in Windows 11?

There's a version of this dialog from an old NT beta that still works on W10. I use it for editing Classic theme, but it should work okay with the basic theme as well.

Nice. Can you please DM/ or share please? Thanks you.

I edited it slightly in Resource Hacker to match the old W7 version as much as could. If you want it, it's here: Gofile

Windows 10 still does not have this color dialog box. Does Windows 11 have this color dialog box? I would like to know if Windows 11 has this extra feature from Windows 95 to 7 to personalize colors of sub features in Windows.

No, it doesn't- that's contrary to MS's whole design intent, I'm afraid.

    Have a look at this:
WinPaletter: customize Windows theme colors to your liking

There's a new utility you might prefer to SMACC by Superfly.

However that still doesn't help with background colours in windows rendered via file explorer.
For that you still need to use Qttabbar (free).
