    Classic desktop background & color personalization to control panel

    I would like to add Classic Desktop Background and Classic Color and Appearance shortcuts to the control panel (since links go to the new settings options instead) using the shortcuts from the tutorials below:

    Create Desktop Background shortcut in Windows 10
    Create Color and Appearance shortcut in Windows 10

    to create registry files that resemble the one in the personalization shortcut from the tutorial below:

    Add Personalization to Control Panel in Windows 10

    In other words, I want to modify the registry file below but specifically for classic desktop background and color and appearance shortcuts. Classic Desktop background open command is
    explorer shell:::{ED834ED6-4B5A-4bfe-8F11-A626DCB6A921} -Microsoft.Personalization\pageWallpaper
    and classic color and appearance commend to open is
    explorer shell:::{ED834ED6-4B5A-4bfe-8F11-A626DCB6A921} -Microsoft.Personalization\pageColorization

    How would I do that? I can figure out how to substitute the CLSID codes but I don't really know any of the other lines. Can you please help? Thanks!

    I'll have to do some testing and playing when able before replying on this, but you might also see if the Personalize (classic) context menu below may be useful for you for now.

    Ok. Here's some .reg files to add these for you.

    I'll see about getting a tutorial for these soon, and will post back with links when ready.

    Great. Thank you! And you might want to add (or update) tutorials for adding Local Group Policy Editor and Registry Editor when you have the time as well. Some folks out there might find them useful as well.

    Awesome! Thank you Brink!
    One more question...has anyone figured out how to get the old windows color and appearance dialog back again or has this item permanently disappeared?
