    Hello Frank,

Since the default Small and Large sizes doesn't work for you, you could see if the tutorial below for changing the size of taskbar buttons may help.

    Hello Frank,
Saw that one. The button width is okay, it's the size of the Icons on the bar that I'd like to change

Not really a biggy as it's one of those "would be nice" things

I was just wondering if someone knew if there is a Registry Key that sets the Icon Size

I've just seen the registry values for the small and large size in option 2 below.

Use Large or Small Taskbar Buttons in Windows 10

You could change the DPI scaling level below to a higher percentage to make them bigger. it does make everything bigger though.

If you're interested, there are a couple of third party software icon taskbars - Objectdock (Stardock) and Rocketdock. These allow you to adjust the size of icons to a much greater extent the the Windows taskbar options.

Thanks everyone, I appreciate all the effort

Looks like there isn't an easy way to increase the size of just the Taskbar Icons. Everything else is fine

No matter. Would have been nice if the Taskbar Icons were a smidgen larger but I can see them well enough.

Not really wanting to add Third party apps. Would kinda de-rail my efforts at minimizing the Windows resource footprint and saving that "horsepower" for gaming.

First played a computer game in 1977ish on a Computer Automation "Naked Mini" using a whole 12k of ferrite core memory. So I'm long past the addiction stage...

    Off Topic: pixel ruler?

If I might ask what pixel ruler is that in your screengrab?

And yeah I want bigger icons too. Proceeding to take to the registry and muck it up a lot like a shade tree mechanic...

Sorry, didn't see your Query about the ruler
It's part of PicPick, a suite of screen capture tools that is lightweight and resides in your taskbar notification area
