Confused re: Themes, Colors, and What is Impacted
As I understand a theme it is a picture (thumbnail).
When one chooses a particular theme, the color, font and other properties are set
as defaults to be used each time Windows is started / restarted.
Where my confusion is coming in is relating a theme to things that are important (to me).
1) How do I know what impact any theme will have on title bars, form back and fore colors, contrasting text
over background colors where needed, etc.? In other words, what properties are the theme impacting
and how do you know from the picture what color impacts what ?
For example I changed the background color in ease of access (dumb place to set a color if you ask me) and
could not read any text.
2) Is there anyway to disable all themes and set individual items directly other than the registry?
3) If I modify the registry (assume HKCU\Control Panel|Colors controls everything including all controls (forms, pictureboxes, etc). will the current theme over ride those setting upon Windows start / restart?
4) Is there anyway to make one own theme with the colors wanted?
Thanks
David
