Setting the lock screen picture to also show on the sign in screen should also make it the boot screen. But it seems not always to work as expected.

I think the OP means this screen:

I thought the OP was talking about the default 'man cave' image that often appears at start up. That startup logo cannot be changed easily, though some OEMs (such as Dell) have an alternate image embedded the UEFI bios.

    Microsoft said:
The only supported way to replace the startup logo with a custom logo is to modify the Boot Graphics Resource Table (BGRT) on a device that uses UEFI as the firmware interface. If your device uses the BGRT to include a custom logo, it is always displayed and you cannot suppress the custom logo.

    Absolutely right!

Depending on the device, you could go as far as bricking the machine!

High Permissions on the system files you need to modify!

I've done it many times on various machines, including Windows 10; some with favorable results, some with fatal results!

Then you have to ask yourself, "For what purpose?" or "To what end?" I'm usually making my first pot of coffee at that moment, nobody sees it anyway!

Thanks for the answers, it is appreciated.

If it was a reasonably easy task I would probably attempt it.
Maybe I will investigate this at some time in the future.
    Thanks again.

Is there any way to put a custom boot logo in Windows 10 source ISO instead of Windows 10 default boot logo? So that whenever I use that ISO to install Windows in any system, the custom boot logo automatically applied?
