Safely remove USB/hardware icon location?

    Safely remove USB/hardware icon location?


    So ive been through about 30 dll's for windows icons and google itself - I cant for the life of me get my paws on the location and/or icon of the safely remove USB looking icon from windows 10.

    Anyone have any idea?

    mind if i ask how you came across that specific icon? Just in case theres a shortcut im missing for future reference :P

    Please tell me you didnt go through each .dll one by one? lol

    Your screenie did help me find iconviewer though which I didnt know existed. So already that much further ahead.

    I just new the command line for safely remove hardware dialog box:

    rundll32.exe shell32.dll,Control_RunDLL hotplug.dll

    In the past I've used this to extract icons:

    https://www.nirsoft.net/utils/iconsext.html

    It can search your entire hard drive for icons (slow though if scanning whole drive)

    jesus, nirsoft has a utility for EVERYTHING.

    fair enough though. I appreciate it, i looked at all the wrong ones evidently :)
