    Windows 10 lock screen picture fades out then shows another picture


    When I bought my computer, the manufacturer set their LOGO picture as my lock screen picture. So I changed that to a picture of my Grandkids. But many times when I start up the computer, Windows 10 initially shows the picture of my Grandkids but then the picture fades out...and as it fades out....I can see the manufacturer's logo picture for about 1-2 seconds.

    Does anyone know why this is happening?


    I have Windows 10 Pro Version 1909

    I would start by disabling Fast Startup, this uses a hiberfil to start your computer, then see if a fresh boot still shows same oem logo. Also check the background{Lock Screen} to see if slideshow is enabled, the lock screen will change. If you change it from slideshow to picture, you can then choose one image.
