What I saw when requesting a code was my microsoft account. I could not test it already having the application. It remains to be seen whether sharing an application via the store allows friends to provide missing applications.

I have some experience with sharing Microsoft Store apps. From what I have seen, sharing apps is possible when accounts with the same Microsoft account are present on the same PC. Then, I would login to my mom's user account, log her out from the store and login with my account there, and just download what I want. Then I login again with my mom's account in the Store, and she can download whatever I own. Maybe some of those steps are not necessary, but this is how it works.
Either way, I'm pretty sure that you cannot share some specific app with me without logging in with your account on my PC. This is something I was looking at a lot, considering that I loved how Windows 10 started to get more and more apps in the store, and I was buying those apps at that time. Such a pity Microsoft gave it up. Anyway, I got a some number of those apps, and, naturally, I wanted to share them with my girlfriend - so she could use them without paying twice.![]()
I just tried sharing through the store. It only gives a link: https://www.microsoft.com/store/productId/9NBLGGH5KM22
which reads: SpotBright - Windows Wallpaper is currently not available.
We must then provide an activation key. We are not moving forward in the solution.![]()
Just one more update. Now my library again shows my previously downloaded and purchased apps. It looks like it was some temporary issue with Microsoft Store which got solved "by itself", i.e. by Microsoft.
It's good news.
It is hoped that the old applications will become available again in the store.![]()
Sorry DPhoenix97,
but this app is no longer available in the store. It must already have been acquired in the past.
Check your store library while logged in with your microsoft account, it should be there if it's one of your old apps.
The link only works if you have purchased a license for this product.
Greetings!
I got the APPX from Spotbright and installed and through it I installed the DailyPic.
The DailyPic is working, but Spotbright is not, apparently the path to Microsoft's image download server on the internet has changed what has happened before and the developer has corrected it, and as the App developer abandoned the development of the APP, Spotbright no longer it will work, it seems to me, even the Android version does not download more images, sorry because it is the only APP that downloads both horizontal and vertical images, which give great wallpapers for both Windows and smartphones as well.
