    Screensaver Does Not Work

OS Name Microsoft Windows 10 Home
    Version 10.0.18363 Build 18363

The screensaver does not work, it'll preview but nothing else. I've tried most stuff suggested, changing the power options, but no luck. Does anyone know a fix?

Need more info, please. Which screensaver? One of the Windows built-in, or from some other source? Tell us exactly which one you are having problems with.

It's the one built into Windows, specifically the blank screen one. Like said the preview works OK. Thanks. If there's any info to help if I'll try to get it

Worked perfectly. After 1 minute, screen went blank, wiggled mouse and back up. Make sure you are clicking APPLY, and not just OK.

I found this where people are having screensaver issues with 1903 version of Windows. Basically what it's saying is pick your screensaver, check the display logon option, apply, ok. Then after it starts working go in and un-check the display logon scrren and it shoud continue to be ok.

    From this site: https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/...b-39667a45fbcb

I had the same problem too (screen saver worked until updating Win10 to Win10 1903).

For me, Step #4 (Check 'On resume, display logon screen') helped "kickstart" the screen saver to work again. I unchecked it after it worked and the screen saver is still working as intended.

Previously I temporarily changed screen savers and the wait period, but that didn't help. But maybe doing that in combination with checking 'On resume, display logon screen' will help others get their screen saver to work again.

    Gotta run now.....

Try what I posted. You may also need to go back and put your power plan settings back to what they were, default or whatever you had them.

Best of luck. will check back sometime later if I can.

I seem to remember hearing that the screensaver function is being deprecated.
On various forums the users who are having screensaver problems have noticed it affects MS screensavers the most - usually Bubbles - while third party ones work fine.
