I noticed that 8GadgetPack is now working with Build10576 but, in order to have the bar correctly located and clear, you need to open 8GadgetPack Tools and select Reset all gadgets. This will resize the bar and make the bar transparent.
Using version 16.0 and still bar trasparent don't work

" All CPU Meter" is included but "Longer Notes" is not. But if you have the gadget available (download or from archive) it can be added in the same manner as in Windows 7.
A belated Thank-you for replying to my question, Alan. Maybe there's a "Notes" gadget in the pack. As long as that particular gadget keeps expanding southward as I enter notes, I'm happy. The name doesn't matter.

Appreciate the URL Tracit99. Hopefully the new version of Windows10 coming out this month won't squash the gadgets for good. Don't know why Microsoft hates gadgets so much. They're no threat to Windows 10's reputation, or Microsoft's profits.

Hmmm, I have 10586 and 8GadgetPack Ver. 16. Transparency is working with no problems. Have you tried to open 8GadgetPack Tools and select Reset all gadgets? This worked for me.

I have just had a popup saying the Sidebar has been updated --- the update appears to have been installed automatically. Now I am having problems, Gadget are in a muddle and cannot be organised as I want. This is probably because I can no longer have several bars. I only have two bars, one of which is the Windows Manager, I used to have three.

Further, I cannot make the bar transparent as reseting says it will remove many of my Gadgets.

On a more positive note, for those interested in Gadgets who have not found it I recommend having a look at the win7gadgets.com page ---- lots of good Gadgets well presented.
