    Win 1909 - Remove annoying text on windows spotlight lockscreen


    I'm getting annoyed by MS shoving text linking to articles on my lockscreen. Is there a way to remove this in 1909?

    Start Menu, Settings, Personalisation, Lockscreen. May need to scroll down.

    Also add or remove apps for status messages (like email).

    No, not for Spotlight. Those links are part of Spotlight and cannot be turned off.

    The OP wants to use Spotlight. Only if you set a Picture or a Slideshow do you have an option to turn off 'fun facts and tips', as can be seen in the Settings screenshots in this tutorial.
