It would be useful to have a Tutorial to disable/enable this feature since MS can't be bothered to design their software properly
The software is designed properly. The user teaches theirself to use it properly and learn how to tweak their experience.

Normally to do so, you would have to select something other than Windows Spotlight for the lock screen, and turn off Get fun facts, tips, and more from Windows and Cortana on your lock screen.

That may have worked in earlier versions, but in 1903 turning off 'fun facts...' in Pictures does not apply to Spotlight when you switch back to it

Yeah, you can't have both. You pretty much have to dump Windows Spotlight to not have them.

Hello guys! Thank you so much for your feedback! I really appreciate it!

Unfortunately, this suggestion doesn't really work for this issue. What it does is that through the edit of the key it changes "Spotlight" to "Picture" mode in the background setting...

@Brink Thanks for the feedback! Well, I was expecting that somehow there would be an alternative. I mean, I like Windows Spotlight with different pictures every day or so... But those suggestions appear and it's very annoying to me...

Sigh... Too bad there isn't a way to use Windows Spotlight without the suggestions...

Ok waking this thread from the dead! ....... I landed here looking for a new permanent solution to "tips" on the lockscreen and thought I would add my between update work around. Go to settings>personalization>lockscreen, change to "picture" to see setting, turn it on and then back off at least once, change back to "windows spotlight" and that's it.......you won't see tips any more until next windows update then have to repeat one time again. Cheers!
