How to run bat File from Right Click Menu in specific folder ?

Is it possible to run a .bat or .exe from the Right-Click Context menu as if it was actually running from a specific folder that I call up the context menu from ?

Example :
The .bat works with files in the folder its placed in with .
The way its written is it has to be in that folder. this was done for convenience.

I want to streamline this process by calling up this bat from the right click menu ; in any folder i click into :
Have it act as if it was in that folder .

If this is possible how would I do this ? Thanks .

Presumably you would need to pass the path as a parameter to the bat file. Pretty much anything can be added to the context menu- there are several utilities around for that.

Yes I saw one of your posts where you suggested ContextEdit . Im trying that. But im unsure if that is geared towards my problem.


Also trying FileMenu Tools , software.

That was in a different context, for a different purpose.

Try e.g. Easy Context Menu


or perhaps Right click context menu adder (may give an initial error message- ignore that). Free.

I didnt yet try other software for this . yet. I will also try the software.

I did it manually first and this did work . This path seemed to work


It appeared in right click. At first it didnt work for a unknown reason. I relocated the file and its new path, then tried again. And that seemed to have worked in reg edit .
