    Start Menu size

We can make the Start Menu taller/shorter (mine is as short as it gets) & wider/skinnier (mine is as skinny as it gets).
Is there a way (perhaps through the registry) that we can change the size limits? I'd like mine even skinnier.

Also, how can I change my Games Start Menu folder to use an icon that is full sized? When I do change the icon, it's small on top of the blue square.

You could try this person's method: How can I change the *icon* size on the Windows 10 start menu? - Super User

I'd make a restore point first ...just in case something runs amuck.

Thanks for the link. Unfortunately, that didn't help.
    1. the program seems to be only looking into the C:\ProgramData\... folder for the shortcut, which is used for All Users; the folder for which I want to change is only under a specific user.
    2. The folder I want to change is not an executable itself, just a folder.

I even changed the folder's icon the old fashioned way using my own 256x256 icon, but that still didn't work the way I'd like.

I did, it didn't work for me. I think the problem is because the folder is under a Standard User account only & not an Administrator Account.
