    How to change file icons using custom icons (Win 10 /64/ 1903)


    I've been using File Types Manager for years without a problem. But since the Win 10 / 64 1903 update the 'Browse' function no longer works. How can we access and use custom icons for files (such as an mp3 file) without File Types Manager?

    Cannot Browse for icons using FTM. Nirsoft confirmed the problem.

    Curious- just tried it on mine for 'text' extension (not txt) - it worked ok...

    I want to change the exe-file ( see the pictures) into the picture of the "new look "...............how (??) to do this.......??

    It's much much easier to create a shortcut to it and assign an icon to the shortcut.

    Otherwise you'd need a program like this:
