Can I change ctrl-D to Duplicate in Windows 10?

Hello,

I regularly switch from Mac to Windows and back, and usually I instantly adapt to whichever system I'm using. Other than ctrl-D. On a Mac, it's 'duplicate' (eg. click on a file, hit command-D, and a duplicate appears). On Windows, it's the total, disastrous, opposite - delete. Whoever chose that obviously didn't notice that there's a 'Delete' key on the keyboard already assigned to this - I hope they got fired for that bizarre error. I can only assume it'll get bug-fixed in version 1.01 of Windows

. Anyway - to the point - is there an easy way to tweak the registry or something to fix this?

Using different OSes brings into play different features, it's just the way competition works, gives users different ways to accomplish the same things. At least the Ctrl+D of Windows sends the deleting item directly to the Recycle Bin without the message to confirm one wants to do it, can recover it.
[Using Shift + Delete bypasses the Recycle Bin for more-or-less permanent deletion.]
I used to have a MacBook Pro but can't recall if it was the Control/Command key or the Option key that was used in combination with another.
