How do I remove Username Text and Spinning Wheel from Logon Screen

    Hi,

I'm trying to skin down Windows 10 as a front end for a popular media player. I've just about gotten it how I want it save for the logon screen. I've set everything to black, hidden icons etc, edited the winlogon.exe.mui file to remove the welcome wording and have autologon setup so upon boot it logs in automatically. However I would like to hide/disable the remaining username wording and spinning wheel animation underneath it. Essentially these two bits:

    Any ideas?

    Cheers
    Tom.

Hi hellgate24. Welcome to the TenForums @hellgate24

Not sure if this would work for your needs but maybe.

    Cheers Ken.

I've checked this, but the autologon util (from sysinternals) fills these registry values anyway with the username and password (in encrypted form), thus the tick box in netplwiz is already unchecked. I suspect the settings I require probably need to be altered in an MUI or DLL file (in a similar way to how I removed the welcome text), its just knowing which one.
