Lock screen photo oversized since latest Windows 10 update

Windows 10 updated itself on my HP 255 G2 Notebook PC and now the lock screen image is bigger than the screen. It looks like Windows 10 zoomed in on Reshiram's stomach area in the picture rather than just displaying the entire image!

I tried going into the lock screen settings but I see no way to tell it to fit to my screen! If I just go and reselect the image, nothing changes! It is still too big and still looks zoomed in! It was NOT like this before the update!

    Please help me fix this.

Just a guess, maybe the update changed your screen/display resolution [smaller numbers] or changed the display/graphics driver.

That cannot be it because I had that happen with other computers (particularly the one that lost 1920x1080) but the lock screen still was the entire screen, and not zoomed in. This one, the lock screen photo is zoomed in.

I just checked my screen resolution on this laptop and it is still the same (1366x678)

It can happen if you do not sync profiles between devices with a Microsoft Live account. These things happen, we fix them and then move on and not try to diagnose the why and how, but use what we learned from fixing the issue to apply again if this repeats itself.

One issue is that if this image was not properly sized for the display resolution, Windows could default the image to the default properties coded into it. Anytime you go from one edition of Windows 10 to the next, things are going to change.

I have a live account on all three devices running Windows 10 but I do not sync profiles because I want different computers to have different wallpaper

Try turning theme off in personalization in Sync your settings in Account in Settings.
