    Win10 Taskbar Expanding Icon Folder

Hey all - curious if anyone knows of a program that would allow you to create an expandable folder/list from an icon pinned to the taskbar that you could drop program shortcuts to.

similar in functionality to mobile OS folders, hopefully with left-click functions.

You can create a folder and a shortcut to that folder.
    This folder will contain shortcuts.
Then create a new toolbar (rt click taskbar, Toolbars, New Toolbar, and browse to the shortcut to the folder and add that.
Here's 'New Folder' with some shortcuts on the toolbar:

(the shortcuts are displayed if you click on >> )

Now if you drag the left separator to the left on the taskbar so a shortcut icon and name becomes visible, you can drop further shortcuts there, but not, it seems otherwise.
