Sign in page cleanup
The sign in page often has messages from MS like 'like what you see?' and 'discover my with Microsoft' (or something like that). How do I get rid of this?

That 'like what you see' message is an integral part of Windows Spotlight, and would be on the lock screen you see before the sign in screen. Turning off Spotlight for the lock screen will make it go away.
Change Lock Screen Background in Windows 10
Actually you can keep Spotlight AND remove the messages by enabling 'Secure Login' which requires CTRL+ALT+DEL (or another secure hardware combination). Also turn off the option Edwin shows above.
