    Where is the path of the backgroud stored.


    On a Windows 10 system, after login, the background is a photo.
    I known how I can select an other background.
    But I cannot find the file of current background photo.
    Where is the path of the current background stored?
    Is that in the registry?

    Hello,

    If you mean for the desktop background, then you could add the context menu using the tutorial below to make it easy to find the file location of the current desktop background as wanted.

    Yes. Look at CurrentWallpaperPath in HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Wallpapers
