    How did you do that??
The properties tab for command prompt. Right click the top part, choose defaults or properties, go to experimental tab, turn it on and play with the settings.

Thanks, that's just a 'throw together' but I figured I'd keep the Menu small against black, (don't care for transparency), then glance it off the edges of the menu with a cool pattern and a spot for a logo of some sort.
I bet somebody good with Photoshop could come up with some cool ideas!

I like that idea to divide desktop area for different purposes, easier to find things on it, that's what I always do.

    Nice command prompt!
The new experimental tab in command prompt default & properties has some new settings including opacity, It's almost as configurable as Ubuntu and it's daughter distros, it's only missing the ability to set an individual background picture.
