Moving a browser window UP!

This is in fact quite easy, you can move any window including browsers partially, even completely outside the display. Notice that this does not work on full screen window.

Exit full screen, make your browser window as big as you want but not full screen. Press ALT + SPACE to open small context menu top left. Select Move, press UP ARROW to move the upper part of browser window "out of sight". Press ENTER to lock new position.

Have you actually tried this yourself? Would love to see a screen shot of how that worked out for you as this method simply pins the top of the browser to the top of the screen which is something I clearly stated in the first line of the post is something that I did NOT want to do.

I gave it a shot and switched off the Snap feature in Multitasking.
Unfortunately I still can't do what I want to.

Moving the window UP and out of view just makes the browser window smaller in height!

I've been looking for an answer for this for so long that I'm now sure that there isn't one.
Moving a window around the monitor works anyway but up and out of sight of the top of the monitor.

Well. no window is going to get longer just because part of it is off screen, did you try to grub bottom part and stretch it downwards. That's another move but I can't think of anything else.
There are some monitors that can be turned to portrait mode, used quite a bit in desktop publishing.
