I'm looking for a free program to clean up some of my pdf files. Specifically, i want to correct the size of some of the pdf files, as well as getting rid of hyperlinks and bookmarks.

Solved by using this program to clean up the pdf files

Yes, i have already tried it. It leaves watermarks on the pdf files. The other one is an online pdf editor, which isn't what i want.

Libre Office can create, open, edit and save .pdf files.

I just tried it. I don't see any options to remove bookmarks anywhere? It's a bit of a confusing program.

PDF X-Change editor is a free download and, while payware, allows the use of a core of editing functions in its free/trial install state. You might be able to accomplish some of these tasks using the free version.

I just tried the trial version of adobe acrobat dc. It seems like it let's you remove the hyperlinks and bookmarks. I still need to correct the size of my pdf files, though.

    What do you mean?

Delete some pages, fix page count, compress the files, …

I don't do much PDF work these days—and MS Word does whatever I need—but when I did do various editing jobs, I used Mike S's suggestion PDF X-Change editor. Excellent program, I still use it as my PDF reader.

What i mean is, that some of my pdf files are bigger than some of the others. I want all of them to be the same size. Anyway, i got in touch with adobes customer support, who told me how to correct the size of my pdf files, so they are now in the same size. I also found out that some of my pdf files were locked with a password, so i used this program to get access to them again. I have also tried the pdf x-change editor that you suggested. It works, but it leaves watermarks on the pdf files.
