Win 7 Aero (Win Explorer color change)

    Hello,

I am running Windows 7 x64 (Aero Theme) on my PC.

I want to know if there is any way to change the AERO theme's -- > WinExplorer's background color from white to something darker ? (I know I can switch to Classic mode Theme and I can change the colors BUT I prefer to keep AERO because of Magnifier and some other features).

Also, if there is a 3rd party customization-tool/ app/ software that can accomplish this.

    Thank you.

Hello, as I understand it you are asking a question about Win 7- this is tenforums, where the focus is on Win 10, which does not have Aero and does not support themes in the same way.

There is a dedicated forum for each OS - for Win 7:
    Windows 7 Help Forums

That said, there is a dialogue in Win 7
Window Color and Appearance - Change - Windows 7 Help Forums

    (see 7 on)
that should let you do that.

In Win 10, I use Qttabbar by Quizo (free) to do that as the dialogue was removed in Win 8:
