How can I get rid of annoying Windows 10 Help icon?

Hi all, to me, that blue icon in the right corner of File explorer is one of most annoying things in Windows 10. I cant stand it. I click it by error way too often, it bothers me to see the Windows Help page open up, not only once, but twice. Once when I click the icon (the Help page opens using Edge), and after next boot, the Help page open up using Firefox (my default browser). I could stand it if it only opened once, when I click it, but doing it after booting the computer, takes the annoyance over the line.

Does anyone know how to get rid of the icon? I read an older thread here at tenforums about this with no solution but perhaps there is one now, or a tutorial. Thanks.

Thanks for the replies, guys. Appreciated. I had read one of those threads that mention Customiser God, I wont install a program to disable an icon. Thats too much for me.

@xTL Was it using Customiser god how you disabled the icon?

Dalchina, we wont agree on this as I see it different than you do. Personally, I think it looks bad when someone asks a question and after asking the question, the poster says something like, "But please, do not suggest to do this or this or that".

But anyway, I did mention in my first post that I found an older thread with "no solution" (one of the threads you linked). IMO, installing an unknown program to get rid of one icon is not worth it. Even though the icon annoys me, installing the programs (another annoyance) weights more than removing the icon.

@bo elam, i disabled it by going into C:\Windows > and i looked for a file named " helppane.exe "
i took control of if and renamed it.
After that it can't appear :)

I also changed the ugly icon, i just have a blue dot there now that does nothing if i accidentally press it :)

I know this thread is super old, but could you please tell me how you achieved to change the icon? I'm desperately failing at this. xD
